Consistency

It has been said that if one is consistent enough in whatever he is doing, he can definitely achieve a higher goal than expected, be it in studies or socializing. However, being consistent not necessary brings us what we wanted most, for it too can makes us suffer, depending on the fate and luck of ours. Endless effort it can be, with no appreciation; dozens of compliment it can be, with not much contribution; consistency might pay off at the very end, or may not be. Have we ever loved someone so much that we insist to own them, to the point where they are afraid of us, avoiding us? Perhaps, that is a wrong way of showing some love. Have we ever got angry with somebody, that we are not willing to talk or to share them our love and care? Maybe, the word ‘sorry’ does not cure most of the broken hearts and promises. Have we ever wondered the day when we finally commit ourselves to the so called appropriates instead of spending hours daydreaming or blogging? Don’t suppose the ‘what if’ actually exists. What does consistency mean to all of us? Does it only remind us of studies and works? Or can it be the attitude of ours towards the people around? We may be consistent in loving a person, for we all know, the feelings wouldn’t last long unless we work our way through; we insist to be us rather than just others, that we have our own ways, our own principles and our own thoughts; be it emotions or actions, we’ve shown consistency, with or without us realizing it, good or bad.
