Chameleon

Emotions are contagious and influential; where many may be overwhelmed if they fail to overcome such spontaneous arise in mental state. When one is laughing, the rest tends to follow; when one is sobbing, the others try to stop their tears from overflowing. It is like a circle, a process and a must in life, whereby we shouldn't be laughing when people are sad, that we try to put on a smile when the others are too, that we should feel what the others are feeling, to not be the spoiler of one particular occasion. There are times where we wonder why the people around fail to feel what we felt, why they insist on us understanding them instead of them understanding us and why us who obey the cycle, not the others. Personally, many have been applying the concept of respecting the people around us, the ones we love and care for; be they smiling or crying, we keep them as company, in a way such that they are not alone, that they know there are those who will stick to them to the very end; emotionally or spiritually. Thus, we automatically feel sad when the others are too, changing our emotions according to situations; a chameleon perhaps, changing its colour, to be part of the surroundings and us trying to be part of ours.
