Once a parent complained that her daughter had been going out a lot, and always, there was this particular person who did the driving. So, yea, that particular friend of the daughter had become the one who brought bad influences, according to the parent. Some people may agree with this statement, but, is this really the truth? Personally, it can be a fact, or, assumption. We wouldn't know the inner side of a person by looking at the outer layer, would we? However, we tend to make assumptions by looking at one matter from one specific angle sometimes, even if we know real well that we shouldn't be. Hereby we might be complaining about our 'driver' who does not fulfil his duty for once after years being at our service, but what about the rest of the days where he sent us everywhere we wanted to go, in and out the house from time to time? Perhaps we have gotten used to having the drivers? And forgot the word 'appreciation'? Not to mention it isn't something that can be shown by taking them to a meal or getting them a small gift. If it is not from the bottom of the heart or to realise the fact on oneself and needs some reminders from the people around, it means nothing, nothing at all.
