Remembering and Memorizing

There are things which we have to memorize in order to remember better and of course, there are also those which we don’t need memorizing at all. We can definitely memorize what we remember, but not necessary remembering what we have memorized. We may be memorizing this particular formula or definition over and over again, or we may choose to remember it after thousands of applications on the particular topic. It is all depends on how we use it really. However, there are those who tend to misuse the skills, by memorizing how much they have done for this particular person, got mad when they are not appreciated and started off with something which they believe, can make that particular person regret for not appreciating them, instead of remembering the good old days together, hoping the person would have found another sort of happiness which he or she failed to see in them. It does not apply only on communications or relationships between one another, but also our life. We do not memorize the bad memories which have been haunting us, we choose to remember them, for remembering is something flexible and so we are able to look into the past and smile, totally the opposite of memorizing which is actually fixed. Same goes to the sweet and heartwarming moments with friends and family, not forgetting the dearest, for we remember them always, instead of memorizing.
