Poem: Reunion

Long after years, we are to gather again.
At one corner of the café, we had drinks and shared.
Stories we both parties have known back then, people we have met.
Laughter and smiles, past and present, together we’ve trekked.
The once familiar faces are still the same, yet many names are to be recalled.
Rather funny if it is to say, when one being tackle by the other.
Words have been rearranged, in a slightly different ways.
Indirectly may be fit for the day, in the situation where jokes are to be told.
Time does fly, when we are enjoying ourselves.
Not realizing the moment has come, one has to depart.
Disappointed, for the session was short;
Yet still glad, for friends who have lost contacts are in touch again.
Another promise, another plan, to the next gathering which soon be held.
Hopefully, would be soon enough.
