Helpless

Some may have been taught on not to entrust people easily, for most of us are masked. Come to think of it, who doesn’t? We may be cheerful in front of the crowd, but deep down, our heart might be tearing apart with nobody knew. In a conversation, a father warned the children not to believe what the others told, including the family. However, the daughter couldn’t help it but actually fell for her brother’s trick when he said he imitated the mice to lure them out. Frankly, we are helpless when it comes to such incidents, for we are human beings and not a person who does not possess any feelings at all. Even one who had been hurt and betrayed countless times too would open up one self’s heart when the right person appears. So, what else do we do? Other than believing each other? Including the false?
