The Bridge

One mentioned, life consist different paths, which include happiness and meaningful life. However, out of these two, we may choose one, and only one. To be truly happy, we must live in present, and not looking back to the past or future. In contrary, a meaningful life leads us back to the previous chapters in life, and at times, skips to a new one before we finish the current page. However, a bridge can be build in between, similar to how we link two different lands together. And the bridge would be? Optimism. Indeed, to ignore what happened in the past and focus only on the present is a shortcut to happiness. Nevertheless, without optimism, one may be living in one’s shadow, sinking in the present dark. Being optimistic shall let us have both at once, to always look at the brighter side, living the life to the fullest and also, learning the meaning of life.
