We are the symbols of ourselves, our chronicles, our lives, which show how we’ve lived, what we’ve seen and where we’re aiming to. There are times where we are only the symbols of ours, with different thinking lying within us, as if there are two persons of more hidden inside us, where the different perspectives and value towards life conflict with one and another; times where we got confused, for we do not know which is our true self and which is not, which we should be listening to and which we shouldn’t be. Hence, there are people who go nuts, unable to decide on their own, not able to handle the thoughts occurred in their heads. We have the right to decide, to plan and to run our lives based on what we wanted, what we’ve aimed for and what we desired, but as the word ‘symbol’ defines, we have no power over what is to be erased from our memories and what is not, which doings of ours are to be edited and which are not, or even to change the fact that changes already taken place; for what is done is done. Once a symbol always a symbol; once a person changed, he is changed; once an incident occurred, there is no turning back; once it has become part of the memories, it remains to be. What changes would it bring, if we are to alter the unchangeable? How much does it mean, if we are to change the meaningless? How good can we be, if we are to ignore the lessons we learned when we are not? We are the symbols, but our doings, our sayings, our thoughts and our memories are us, which determine who we are, what we are and where we are in this current society.
