Treatment

We expect the others to appreciate our doings, we expect ourselves to hold the power and we expect everyone to at least listen to what we’ve got to say. We want to be treated as a friend, we want to be recognized as someone influential and we want to be acknowledged as a living being. We know how we want ourselves to be treated as, but very often we ignore the needs of others and that they may be hoping for a better treatment too. Nevertheless, are we treating the people around us the way we wish to be treated as? Are we not being prejudice, wearing our own masks in front of them as well? We may be wondering why a person who we think we are close with does not bother to share his problems with us, we might be questioning ourselves why that particular person looks so dead whenever we are around and goes hyper all of a sudden when the third party shows up, and we’d probably be imagining how the others would be talking about us behind our backs. Perhaps we are being sensitive, perhaps we are simply being cautious or perhaps it is the treatment we get in return after how we treated the others. It could be due to the reason that people are jealous of our capability and strength or it could be due to the fact that we are not as good as we think we are. Do we deserve the current treatment we’re receiving? That, I wonder.
