Recording Happiness

If it is to say we do not need recordings in order to remember the very moments in our life, then why is it that we tend to forget certain important things at times? Indeed, we would have remembered the unforgettable memories, but it is too pretty common that we may eventually forget the original feelings when we were in that particular situation for the very first time, less excited, less emotions. Happiness is what most people are looking for, and yet, not many of them manage to get their hands on what they have wished for, in another word, they may not realize the fact that they’ve already achieved their goal, the great happiness. Certain groups may define happiness as something real big, real meaningful, or to say the most obvious, most significant, which also able to catch the attention of many. We do know that time is made up of seconds, minutes, hours and years, that one compound is made up of several types of atoms or maybe more, that our body is made up of complex structures and reactions. But how many do know that the great happiness is actually made up of smiles, tears and joy? That the little insignificant emotions we have in life are to create such wonderful, joyful, demanding emotion of all, the happiness? We do not ask why one smiling always, but to ask what brings one’s smile, because we smile when we are happy, especially when we smile without knowing we actually did. That is one of the definitions of happiness, I believe. Read through the messages which have been left by the others ages ago, if it once lifted up the smiles on the faces, it will definitely have the same effect again.

Study and Learn

It is not necessary to study but it is a must to learn. In school, we study to learn and of course, in some cases, certain people would learn to study, learn to learn. Researches done on one specific base are counted as studies, while each and everything we learned or caught on by accidents are known as learning process. We may choose to study one particular field, one particular person, one particular object, but we would never be able to choose not to learn anything at all, for whatever we do, whatever we hear, whatever we choose is a process of learning in our life. We learn to speak, we learn to capture hearts of many, we learn to befriend with friendships and we learn to say ‘no’. We learn from a single word, we learn from a single phrase, we learn from a simple act and we learn from a simple handshake. It is fine to fail in studies, but not in learning, as studies are fixed, but not learning. When we are able to learn, we are able to study; when we have learned many, we continue learning and we continue studying, be it something relating to our life, our homeland or our memories.

Taking and Receiving

What is the difference between ‘take’ and ‘receive’? Yes, both are actions taken and both recipients are the same person, but, the former is done based on our own will while the latter is based on the free will of others. We choose to take what we desired, be it something belongs to us or not and we receive what the others want us to have, could be something we desired or what they think we would be. Very often, we take love from the others, and receiving it at the same time. It is undeniable that we need love to survive in this world, to avoid from trapping ourselves in darkness which does not exist in the first place, to keep the circle goes round. Receive is somehow equals to accept, whereby we accept what we received but not everything we received is what we can accept. We tend to take things for granted, receiving what the others are giving us and sometimes not able to accept them, for they might not be what we desired. It is to take, to receive or to accept?

Not So General

Throughout the year, the general paper has been teaching nothing else but politics and how the government functions in the current days, never once knew politics are categorized under general knowledge. What’s general and what’s not? Sweeping statements and facts based on specific topics. Perhaps there are times where we cannot concentrate on one particular task, in fact, it happens all the time. When we are involved in certain conversations, the main objective of that particular topic tends to change from time to time, from food to girls, gossips to politics, studies to sports. Even when we are reading, or you may put it as studying, our mind prone to wander off, with or without knowing. Well, it too can be said that, the topic links from one to another, not in the sense that they actually related to each other, but the moment when the idea strikes our head. It is counted as relevant, in a way, isn’t it? There are up and down in life, different wavelength of brainwaves, so why not the general to not so general? Specific to not so specific? Besides, there is no certain definition of anything or everything we are currently having our hands on, since it varies from one to another, not to mention the new ideas keep coming in from time to time.

Pauses and Ends

To say a wonderful dream pauses or to be ended? Heard one’s opinion that it actually comes to an end, of that particular chapter whereby a whole new page would be flipped through at the times to come, telling another story of our own. We have people who lost contact with their old pals, recalling the old days where bunch of them hang around together, saying the very sentences which have started off their friendship in the first place. Desperately, or maybe not, some would try their very best, in order to reclaim this long lost friendship. In such cases, it is to say the friendship pauses or ended? Perhaps it varies from a person to another, but personally, both can be used, based on the subject of course. The story of our life pauses from one chapter to another, but the story with one and another ends as we continue reading the book of life. The so called friendship is counted as coming to an end, when two actually lost contact with each other, as we never know when the next encounter would be, which can be days, weeks, or years. Till then, a whole new friendship is to blossom, instead of continue from the previous one, for one no longer approaches the other in the same old way.

The Eyes

Eyes are the windows to our soul, the other path where we are able to figure one’s feelings, one’s desire. We have seen the eyes which smile, the smiles which able to steal our soul; the eyes which have been crying for help, through pictures and photos; the eyes which have shouted in anger, to release their stress in their daily life; the eyes which always show one’s emotion, in a way they wanted to. These eyes are the eyes of angels, eyes of innocence, where they are unlikely to be hidden from the crowd, unless it is well-trained. It doesn’t take many experiences or time to obtain such a skill to look at the souls hidden at the back of those eyes, as a sincere heart is all it takes. A heart warming smile does not come from the curving lips, but the eyes, not only able to brighten up one’s day, but also, lifted up the smile on that particular person as well. What is the current emotion those eyes of yours are showing?

Poem: The Last Which Last

Moment being spent after a year,

With that particular person, that particular smile.

A familiar stranger, when both are together,

Due to the ages which fly.

One out of two they have been meeting each other,

Treasure the time together, before he is to fly.

The first was awkward, second was fine,

Third was better, and fourth was great.

The best and the worst of all, is the seventh,

The very last outing since the time has come.

Mixture of emotions being stirred,

Creating an unexplainable taste.

A very fine moment which last,

Till he is once back again.

Another year to spend online and cell phones,

In order to communicate.

Still, it is believed to last till the very last,

Before they are to see each other again, face to face.
